NURSERY – SUNDAY MORNINGS
FBC’s nursery provides a safe and loving environment for children from birth to 36 months during Sunday morning worship services and Sunday school. Our goal is to provide these young ones with a positive first experience in church and to serve their families so they may attend worship and Sunday school with less distraction. It is staffed by certified volunteers. A check in/out system along with individual pagers are used for each family. We look forward to serving you and loving your children!
BEGINNER’S CHURCH – SUNDAY MORNINGS
Certified volunteers care for our 3 & 4 year old children during the sermon time of the service. Through teaching God’s Word, singing, and playing, we help preschoolers transition from nursery to the worship service so that by the age of 5, they are prepared and can enjoy worshiping with their parents/care-givers and the whole church family.
During the Sunday service, listen for the Beginner’s Church dismissal and walk your child to the PreK classroom (#137) to check your child in. After the service, check your child out from the classroom. Children will not be dismissed without a parent/care-taker checking them out.
AWANA – WEDNESDAY EVENINGS
Our purpose at Awana is to plant the seed of the Word of God in children so that they grow in genuine saving faith. Awana includes counsel time where students are encouraged and challenged by an Awana teacher, handbook time where students work in their handbooks and memorize bible verses, and game time where we burn energy and have lots of fun.
It is a delight to walk alongside kids as they learn about God and the Bible. God’s Word is something we all need, so we are eager to do this together this year! We are trusting and hoping that Awana will be a blessing for you and your family. We know what a joy it is to see God at work in the hearts of kids.
